Celebrating the very best of Cornish food and drink

You will find more to do and see at this year's Cornwall Food and Drink Festival. We join in celebrating the year of food and farming, encouraging young people to understand more about where and how our food is produced as well as bring you tasty and great value local produce.
More people than ever are involved with this year’s festival, a sure reflection of how much we all value our local food and drink.

With over 25,000 people visiting the three day event last year, we welcome you back for an action-packed timetable.

We have extended the marquee to incorporate many of the best producers in the county who will be keen to share their enthusiasm for their food and drink.

The Cookery Theatre is sponsored by Rangemaster, who specialises in showcasing the best chefs in festivals all over the country. Over the three days we have a top line-up of Cornish chefs, including favourites Kevin Viner, Ben Tunnicliffe and Nathan Outlaw.

A new event this year is our special Brunch Challenge on the Sunday morning organised by the Womens Food and Farming Union. This new event takes the form of a challenge to some of our young Scouts in Cornwall to cook a special meal with the assistance of chefs from the renowned Fifteen Cornwall restaurant at Watergate Bay.

A few strides across the square, Hall for Cornwall is hosting some special wine and cheese tastings at its Stars Restaurant on Friday and Saturday afternoons with our wine and cheese experts.

Between food demos and making your purchases from the array of exibitors, make sure you pop along to the Heritage Cookery area where food experts are sharing their secrets - everything from specialist bread-making to a delicious cocktail.

Why not tune into Radio Cornwall to check what is happening at the Food and Drink Festival.

The presenters will be commentating on the live chef demonstrations over the three days as well as catching up with the exhibitors.

Enjoy and indulge.
