St Austell Brewery
St Austell Brewery is delighted to be the key sponsor of this year's Cornwall Food and Drink Festival.
As a local family firm, we are immensely proud of Cornwall's food and hospitality and of the world class standards being set by the food and drink producers, chefs and retailers in the County. More and more customers are seeking high quality locally sourced produce and Cornwall is well placed to meet this growing demand with its excellent food and drink.
The popularity of local produce is reflected in the sales of St Austell Brewery's cask ales which continue to break records year on year. Please drop into the St Austell Brewery stand which will be offering samples and off sales throughout the festival. Also if you want to learn more about the brewing process and to see our beers being created, and for a guided tour of the Victorian brewery, you are welcome to come to the St Austell Brewery Visitor Centre at the Brewery which is open throughout the year.
The pub trade has undergone a revolution over the past decade with good value, high quality food becoming a crucial part of the customer experience in most successful Cornish pubs. This trend has been accelerated by the smoking ban with more and more St Austell Brewery pubs now offering tempting locally sourced fresh food all served in a welcoming smoke free environment.
This year is proving to be a remarkable one, with St Austell Brewery being awarded the UK's Number One Regional Brewer at The Publican Awards in March, recognised for the quality of our beers, our pub estate, food and our training. More people than ever are choosing to drink beer from Cornwall and St Austell Brewery beers are leading the way. In July we opened our own bottling line which means our beers are now brewed and bottled within Cornwall.
We hope you enjoy the Festival and have the chance to enjoy Cornwall's excellent food and of course to wash it down with some award winning St Austell Brewery beer. To find out more about St Austell Brewery beers, pubs and career opportunities please visit www.staustellbrewery.co.uk
