Cornwall Food and Drink Festival

Festival Marquee, Lemon Quay, Truro

Celebrating the very best of Cornish food and drink

Join us at the Gallery Café, in Lemon Street Market, for two special tasting evenings. Delight your taste buds whilst sipping some carefully selected wines to test the best - versus the rest

The evening begins with a masterclass in matching Cornish cheeses with world wines, when you will also be challenged to taste local and continental cheeses to see if you can tell them apart. Your hosts are Pam Cotgreave of The Cheese Shop and Mike Maguire and Neil Logan from Wine in Cornwall who are ably assisted by cheese merchant Emma Johnson.

As the evening continues, Cornish tasting plates will be served and you can feast on the finest produce including charcuterie, breads, chutneys, salads, ciders and much more whilst sitting back and enjoying some musical entertainment. Plus, meet some of the cheese producers who aim to bring you the freshest and best local produce. These two events will make for a great evening out for you and some friends or colleagues.

Tickets £10 in advance, £12 on the door. Special rate for advanced group bookings (of more than four people).

Tickets in Truro from Artisan Cookshop, 01872 261040, The Cheese Shop, Lemon Street Market or Inside Cornwall magazine 01736 334800.
