Cornwall Food and Drink Festival

Festival Marquee, Lemon Quay, Truro

Celebrating the very best of Cornish food and drink

There’s a month of great eating across Cornwall this October!

l Cornwall Celebration of Food 2008 is the
biggest food festival in the county, with loads of events taking place at the best restaurants, cafés, foodie shops and hotels across Cornwall during the entire month of October.

The events kick-off with the Cornwall Food and Drink Festival at Truro’s Lemon Quay, and is followed by some unmissable eating and drinking, everywhere from The Falmouth Oyster Festival to Fifteen Cornwall. And, if you are looking for a foodie weekend away this October, then head across the border to the Devon Celebration of Food Festival, which is also taking place.

The festivals are a great opportunity for foodies to indulge their passion for good food, and have wider implications for the community, as local food stalwart Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall says: “Events such as Celebration of Food are crucial... they boost business, educate shoppers and broadcast the message that local is best.”

For the full list of events taking place, please visit the Celebration of Food website at www.celebrationoffood.co.uk and see the September/October issue of Food magazine, which features the full listings.
